Categories of Water Damage

Clean water comes from water mains for sinks or showers and appliances. It is drinkable and safe for contact with the skin. All water degrades in quality over time.

Gray water can be any color. It is not safe for ingestion or contact. It comes from rain and other outdoor sources, sinks, showers, and appliances. It may contain debris, parts of small animals, or dirt.
