Mold spores can survive starvation, lack of oxygen, and lack of water. Mold spores even survive in outer space. Here on Earth, we control the growth of mold by limiting its exposure to excess moisture or water. We can do nothing to limit the presence of mold spores.

Mold spores are always around, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) warns consumers not to trust any company claiming to be able to get rid of mold spores. At SERVPRO of Northeast Tucson and SERVPRO of Oro Valley/Marana East, we claim only to:
